Founded in 2014, Full Circle Cats believes in improving the lives of cats and supporting the communities who care for them through spay/neuter, adoption, and education.
We are an all-volunteer organization powered by our collective drive to help animals. We are “boots on the ground” in Oakland and beyond, helping to rescue and care for sick and injured cats and kittens. We provide resources to help community members help cats and live in harmony with them, whether via a referral, a free workshop, or showing up in person. We also provide a chance for newborn kittens, who would otherwise be euthanized, to live and be adopted into loving homes.
Are you ready to make a difference and save the lives of cats and kittens in our community? We are actively seeking dedicated board members. Your expertise could be the key to our continued success. We especially welcome applicants with experience in the following:
financial management
human resources
legal
public relations
strategic growth
At Full Circle Cats, we value diversity and inclusion. While experience in nonprofits and animal welfare is beneficial, it's not mandatory. We encourage individuals from all backgrounds, especially those within our communities, to apply.
As a board member, you'll be part of a working team, contributing your time and expertise. Board meetings usually take place over Zoom one evening per month, and board members typically spend around 10 hours per month outside of board meetings advancing the organization’s mission.
